What is in it

Single fish and pairs, always seen from above through water. The scale rows follow the curve of the body so the repetition is never quite mechanical. Lotus pads and ripples fill the space around them.

How it colours

The most repetitive book in the series, which for some people is the entire appeal. Traditional koi colouring is two or three colours only, and the pages are built to reward that restraint.
