The PDF editions

Digital editions are not open for sale yet. Here is what they will be, and what to do in the meantime.

What the PDF is

The complete book as a print-ready file — all fifty designs at full size, one per sheet, the same files the paperback is printed from. You print the pages you want, as often as you want, on whatever paper suits your pens. If you ruin a page you print it again, which is the single practical advantage it has over the paperback.

It is licensed for your own printing. Not for resale, not for redistribution, and not for printing to sell — but there is no limit on how many copies you make for yourself.

Why it is not open yet

Selling a digital file worldwide means collecting EU VAT at each buyer’s rate and US sales tax by state, which needs a payment provider that acts as the legal seller rather than a plain card processor. That is being set up. It is a paperwork problem rather than a technical one, and it is worth doing properly rather than quickly.

In the meantime

Every book is available as a paperback on Amazon at $5.99, printed and shipped by them. The free page is a good way to see how the line work colours before spending anything at all.

If you would like to know when the PDFs open, write to [email protected] and I will tell you once, without adding you to anything.
