About
I am Jame Harlo. I draw mandala and zentangle colouring books for adults — thirty-six of them so far, fifty designs in each, all original work.
How the books are made
Every design starts as line work built up in layers: a subject, then the ornament that follows its shape, then the surrounding pattern that frames it. Nothing is traced from a photograph and nothing is repeated between books. A book takes a long time, which is why there are thirty-six rather than three hundred.
Two formats, and which to pick
The paperback is printed and shipped by Amazon at $5.99. It is one-sided, 8.5 × 11 inches, and it lies reasonably flat. Buy this if you want the object, or if it is a gift.
The PDF is $1 and downloads immediately. You print the pages you want, as many times as you want, on whatever paper suits your pens. Buy this if you use markers — being able to reprint a page you have ruined is worth more than the binding.
Corrections and requests
If something here is wrong, or there is an animal you want and I have not drawn, I would genuinely like to know: [email protected].
